World Alzheimer Report 2013

September 2013 marked the second global World Alzheimer's Month, an international campaign to raise awareness and challenge stigma. World Alzheimer's Month in 2013 followed the theme ‘Dementia: a journey of caring’. On World Alzheimer's Day (21 September), Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) published the 2013 World Alzheimer Report which looked at the issue of long-term care.

The Art of Healthy Aging Lecture Series:

This special event is sponsored by The James Irvine Foundation in collaboration with the Orange County Vital Brain Aging Program (OCVBAP), Hoag Neurosciences Institute. Lectures led by Dr. William Shankle, Judy and Richard Voltmer Chair of Memory and Cognitive Disorders, Hoag Neurosciences Institute and Program Director, OCVBAP.
